Rock Creek resumes practices on August 30th!

We practice weekly on Sunday from 9:30 to 11:30 am at White Flint Park in Kensington MD. Come check out a practice, and join in if you feel so inclined! Stay tuned for practice pop ups in surprise locations! 

September 18th: Rock Creek dances at the Friday Night Dance at Glen Echo

Catch us dancing at the break along with Sligo Creek Sword!

September 26th & 27th: Rock Creek joins Renegades Morris in Philadelphia to celebrate their 20th anniversary!

Rock Creek is delighted to be making the short jaunt to Philly for the weekend to celebrate one of our neighboring teams! Catch us dancing out around the city!

October 9th -11th: Harvest Ale in Western MA!

Rock Creek will be trekking farther north to join a group of our fellow teams, hosted by Wake Robin Morris and Juggler Meadow Morris Men, to dance out around Greenfield, Shelburne Falls, and other locations in Western MA! Come for the stunning New England fall foliage, stay for the Morris Dancing! 

October 8th: Rock Creek dances at the Silver Spring Contra Dance

This contra dance comes with the added bonus of Morris Dancing at the break!

October 18th: Beginner Workshop! 1:30 - 3:30 PM at Maryland Youth Ballet Studio in Downtown Silver Spring

The Beginner Workshop is back this year! If you've ever wanted to try out Morris Dancing, this is the perfect opportunity. This two hour workshop will focus on some basic morris stepping, and learning some figures from one of our signature Wheaton Under Glenmont (or WunderG) dances!
