Open Practices
We are always delighted to share Morris with new and prospective teammates! No experience necessary -- we will teach you everything you need to know. We invite teens and adults who identify as women to dance, and all who can play (or learn!) Morris tunes on a portable acoustic instrument to join us as musicians. Welcome!
Open practices for our Spring 2024 season are held weekly on Wednesday evenings, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM, unless otherwise indicated on our calendar. Our regular practice location for the spring is Takoma Park Middle School in Takoma Park, MD. Our final practice before we break for the summer will be Wednesday, May 22nd.

COVID-19 Precautions
Since March 2020, we have adapted to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic by implementing safety measures, determined by consensus, to take care of ourselves and our community.
We expect each team member to adhere to these precautions. Our agreed upon safety measures for Spring 2024 are as follows:
We practice and perform outdoors whenever possible.
We expect all of our members to stay current with their vaccinations and boosters, i.e. getting every booster for which we are eligible in a timely manner.
Masking is always encouraged, and the use of a good quality mask (N95/KN95 or equivalent) is required* if we are indoors.
*Our current policy allows for an exception if a rapid test is taken the same day with a negative result, in which case masking indoors is optional for that day.
